Dec '09 Apple Jam: is a Seattle based band that was form in 2005. Their recently released album is a collection of 15 songs composed by, but never recorded by the Beatles! Nov '09 Christina Trillo: is an 18 year old singer from southern California with an incredible voice and flare for singing Beatles songs. Oct '09 The Vals: hail from Belfast, Ireland and just blew me away with the Beatlesque style of their original songs. The band members are: Paul Doherty, Owen Duffy, Marty Malone, Ronnie Cartwright and Matt Rice. And...they've had the honor of being recognized by Yoko Ono. Sept '09 Moot: is an outstanding musician from the United Kingdom. When you hear his songs you can hear that his musical artistry has been heavily influenced by the music of the Beatles. Aug '09 Jude Kessler: has spent 20 years of her life researching every step & detail of John Lennon's life to write, "Shoulda Been There", the first in a five part book series. She's made seven trips to Liverpool & been named an honorary Liverpudlian. Jude's books are a work of love with the first installment being 700+ pages. July '09 The Smithereens: are an outstanding power-pop band based out of New Jersey that have put out two Beatles tribute albums in the past two years: Meet the Smithereens and B-Sides The Beatles. Band members Jim Babjak, Pat DiNizio, Dennis Diken and Severo Jarnacion give a live performance that is not to be missed. June '09 Alan Bernhoft isn't just another John Lennon impersonator as seen here on YouTube. Alan has also written and recorded songs in a style that sound so close to the Fab Four, he's called his newly released album "Beatlesque One". May '09 The Eggmen: of Austin, TX have the distinct honor of being named the Best Cover Band for 7 years at the annual Austin Music Awards! We think that'a pretty damn impressive since they hail from the 'Live Music Capital of the World'. I-BFD thinks this is a band you're really going to want to check out. Apr '09 Scott Erickson: is an outstanding solo musician based out of Bloomsburg, PA. Scott considers the Beatles one of his main influences and performs many of their songs in his live performances. Mar '09 Cliff Hillis: is an amazing musician who currently resides in Phoenixville, PA. Dec '08 Just Four Guys is a web-based Beatles radio show and podcast based in Martha's Vineyard. The show is hosted and produced by Ray Whitaker. Nov '08 Drunken Failures Drunken Failures is the band that never was. Made up of various musicians on the internet, this band managed to record an entire of CD of Beatles covers and parodies without ever being in the same studio. Oct '08 Shannon is widely regarded as "The World's Greatest Beatles Artist" and was commissioned to create 110 original pieces of artwork for the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool. She is also the Art Director for the Broadway play "And In The End". Shannon is an artist, musician and a true inspiration. We're honored to make her our Artist of the Month! Sept '08 Luv Me Deux is an amazing All-Girl Beatles tribute band based in Orlando, FL that got it's humble beginnings in 2006 with weekly gigs at a brewery. Now considered a must-see at The Fest for Beatles Fans, Luv Me Deux is made up of Pattie Noah and Sharon Richards. May Pang: the one time girlfriend of John Lennon, is our pick for July's Artist of the Month! May has made many a contribution to the art world, but it's her book, Instamatic Karma, with photographs of John and Julian that have impressed us the most. June '08 Abbey Rode: is a critically-acclaimed Houston-based tribute band performing the greatest hits of the world's greatest rock band - the BEATLES!!! If you're ever in Texas be sure to check these guys out. They may not look or dress like the Fab Four, but they sound like them! May '08 The Cryers from Freehold, NJ is one of the busiest bands around! This band, made up of Jeff Brown, Belle Liao, Joe Orlando & Tommy Seesellberg, has headlined with Laurence Juber , Denny Laine & The Pete Best Band, just to name a few. April '08 Band on the Run can take their audiences on a musical and visual flight throught the Paul McCartney and Wings galaxy. Named 2007's Best Tribute Band in Chicago, this Paul McCartney and Wings tribute band is made up of Ron Starr, Erin Fishler, John Ashly, Jim Workman, Russ Weber and Jim Teister-Ed Rusk-Chuck Sloka on horns.
